If you are interested in experiences of language and identity and/or want to learn more about research, join the SMILE lab!
Undergraduate research assistants (RAs) are expected to commit 3 hours per week per credit hour to working in the lab/on projects. The lab typically hires new RAs at the start of the fall semester each year, but there may be opportunities to join at the start of the spring semester. 4-6 undergraduate students are typically involved in the lab each semester, and students can and are encouraged to earn credit in PSY 497: Research Project in Psychology or PSY 498: Individual Study in Psychology.
To receive more information and/or to join the mailing list to receive an RA application, email Erika (see contact information a the bottom of the page) with “Potential RA” in the subject line and include your name, major, class year, and one sentence describing why you’re interested in working in the lab.
